Love the characters and illustrations setting the tone of the narratives!c: Wish the sign when you open up the letter will be more visible to guide you to the next space. It was fun to find the key and explore the secrets behind it. Overall, great job! c:
I enjoyed this so so much, I love all the art and silly comments. for being a demo yall got so much done and it was amazing seeing this come to fruition! My only nitpick is that the doors are a bit wonky and I had to maneuver through em to get into rooms or back out of rooms. Overall, amazing!
These illustrations are soooo beautiful! The atmosphere makes me constantly feel on edge especially with the added music. Really gives me Fear and Hunger vibes.
But I agree with Cody that some hitboxes could use some fixing. Some of the hitboxes on the bookcases and other furniture seem to be bigger than they appear. There's this one room with a (sort of?) transparent green door that I kept accidentally hitting and being transported back to the first floor.
The teleporting seems a bit janky and I think I got teleported outside of the map once, (but luckily able to get back inside). Also, the green text following the player seems to jitter as the player moves but I'm not sure if that's intentional?
Overall I think this is a really well made game! I had fun exploring the house. Great job!
I love the atmosphere and the art for this game! It's very fun to explore the house and see what mysteries it hides. Main thing that should probably be fixed are hitboxes, I'm currently stuck on a door on the third floor :(
Style of the game is very cool and fits the tone of the game. Atmosphere of the rooms definitely feel creepy through the art and music.
However, I can't access the staircase even with the key, only way is to exit through a broken bounding box to the left of the starting room and go all the way around the top, even then I found myself getting randomly teleported out of the upstairs section.
The screen is a bit too close in personally, although it may be intentional to reveal secrets and other things I may have missed.
